Life in a poem

I picked up a clever little poem yesterday.  I’ve read this poem many times in the past and I thought it would be a good little piece to start a show off.  I would like to share it with you.

I bargained with life to for a penny,
And life would pay no more,
However I begged it each evening,
When I counted my scanty store.
For life is just employer,
He gives you what you ask.
But once you have set the wages,
Why you must bear the task.
I worked for a menial hire only to learn,
To my dismay,
That any wage I would have asked of life,
Life would have gladly payed.

Wow, what a great little poem that is defiantly an excellent way to describe the correct ideals that I like to express on this show.  Why are you allowing your life to have such a scanty store?  There is so much out there in the world and why are you not participating in this wonderful opportunity that is called America.  It’s an entrepreneurial haven where people can set whatever wage they want for themselves.  In this place you can wake up every day and make a pittance if you want to or you can wake up each day and make a lot of money.

I was talking the other day about meeting people at the National Apartment Association and it dawned on me that there a tremendous number of people out there that have worked for the apartment industry for years and got paid a decent wage while doing this respectable job.  I also realized that those same people that have those skills sets could have taken those skill sets and made themselves millions.  I mean, I, who had no particular specialty skill in the market place, went out there and bought apartment complexes and made myself a millionaire.  Now we are teaching these skill sets to anyone who is willing to listen and learn.  All of the knowledge is available and relatively cheap to obtain, so why not take advantage of it?  I really don’t understand why people aren’t taking action.  This is the reason why I teach seminars, why Lifestyles has a free weekly seminar, and why we have three different radio shows that are free and available to anyone and everyone who is out there.  It’s my goal in life to help everyone, who comes to me and tells me that it is impossible to do what I’ve done, see that they do have what it takes to get everything they have dreamed of.
