Well everyone its one day away from the holiday party weekend! So what are we celebrating on this holiday weekend? Some of us are celebrating the fact that we get to get a day away from a job we truly hate and wish that we weren’t in and some are celebrating America and the fact that we are free and independent in the world. Yes people, some of us are celebrating a temporary reprieve from slavery and other are celebrating their true freedom from all other outside pressure...

I picked up a clever little poem yesterday. I’ve read this poem many times in the past and I thought it would be a good little piece to start a show off. I would like to share it with you...

Well my friends I do not think any of you are ever going to be financially free if you continue to follow the old American dream that tells you to work hard, save your money, and hope you die before that hard earned money runs out. As always financial planner only have one way of looking at the world. That is the view in which they can sell you things like stocks and bonds...

Long time no see friends! I just got back the National Apartment Association’s annual conference and as always I am just lit up with excitement. Saw and learned tons of things while I was there and even got to talk to people! I taught a class while I was there and meet lots of people like I always do. I am telling you that if you want to be in the apartment industry, you really need to go to the trade shows because it really is interesting to see how everything works...

Hey everyone! Steve Davis still sitting in for Del today and he will be back next Tuesday from the awards ceremonies this week in Florida for the National Apartment Association. Hang in there folks your fearless leader will be back soon!
I received a few emails over the last few days and among many things, reading these emails I realized that a lot of my listeners do not understand what I am talking about when I am on my show. I can understand how it could get lost in translation, because to me it is a way of life, and I want to make it clear for everyone today. When I talk about investing in real estate and making passive streams of income work for you and your family I am basically talking about moving into the top ten percent of Americans...

I want to continue discussing the articles that appeared in the Houston Chronicle on Monday. These articles were so ridiculous and I really feel the need to talk them all the way out with you all. These financial planner’s strategies, and I’ve tried to think of another way to put this, do not work in the slightest. Today we are going to talk about two identical families with two hundred thousand dollars in their 401K account...

I got a whole lot of response from yesterday’s discussion. We used three articles that I found in the Houston chronicle and showed how all three of them perfectly outlined the average working person’s business model. The model itself tells the average person to get a high paying job with benefits, work for forty to fifty years, and when all that is over you will be living the rest of your life happy and content...

Well everyone it’s in the can. My daughter’s first seminar was last night and I have to tell you I was simultaneously proud of her and in pain watching her go through that kind of trial for the very first time in her life. She was not afraid at all, had no problems talking to the group, did not forget any of the material in mid sentence while she was lecturing and I was amazed at the amount of information that she had retained from just hanging around me and other real estate investors...
